• “LDR confounds authenticity as the Roadrunner does gravity, yet SHE is left holding the proverbial ACME package on the precipice”
• “And so it ends, not with a bang, but with a half-strangled gurgle eerily reminiscent of a pre-coital coo”

What I was saying is that this represents an enormous problem in our culture—the fact that we want women to be ciphers, screens for the projection of fantasy, and the passive receptacles of our desire.

Pretty sure I’ve basically argued this about other celebrities myself, FWIW.
